Positano: A Journey Through Italy's Picturesque Coast

Beautiful, easy, and a touch unreal—this is how I would describe our girls' trip to Italy's coastal slice of heaven. Positano seemed painted with a palette I'd never seen before, splashed with more colour and romance than a Fellini film. I arrived packed with intent, my suitcase brimming with free-flowing dresses perfect for feasting and for floating through this dreamy landscape.

But Positano isn't just a feast for the eyes; it's a physical challenge, too. The town's famed hills, as alive and steep as they come, tested my fitness every day. Each step up the winding pathways was a reminder of my lack of gym attendance—a memento of burning calves and a skyrocketing step count that had me cursing and cherishing the pain in equal measure.
